What we look for.
Hospitality instinct
You understand the rhythm of a hotel, a restaurant, or a guest experience. You've worked the floor, or you've spent enough time there to know what it feels like from the inside.
Technology curiosity
You're excited by robotics, automation, and the operational redesign they enable — not intimidated by them. You read the trade press and you've formed views.
Analytical rigour
You can build a model, structure a problem, and tell a story with data. You know the difference between a number that matters and one that just looks impressive.
Human awareness
You know that every automation decision affects real people and you factor that in — not as a constraint to minimise, but as the point of the whole exercise.
Clear communication
You write well and speak plainly. You can take a complex operational finding and explain it to a hotel owner who has never read a consulting report in their life.
Languages
English and French are essential. German, Arabic, Korean, or other languages are a genuine advantage for our geographic footprint.

Technologist Intern
The role
We are looking for an engineering student — specialised in digital tools, software or hardware — to work alongside our consulting team on real client engagements. You will evaluate automation solutions, benchmark technology vendors, support client-facing assessments, and help translate technical findings into strategic recommendations. This is not an admin internship: you will do the work.
This is a pre-hiring internship. Interns who perform well over the course of the engagement will be considered as priority candidates for a permanent role as the practice grows. We view the internship as a mutual audition.
What you will do
- Research and benchmark hospitality automation technologies — robotics, IoT sensors, PMS integrations, AI scheduling tools
- Conduct technology audits at client sites across Europe (some travel required)
- Support automation readiness assessments and diagnostic fieldwork
- Produce vendor comparison analyses and technical feasibility notes
- Contribute to client deliverables alongside the senior consulting team
What you will learn
- How to structure and conduct technology assessments in live operational environments — a skill set rarely developed in engineering programmes
- The full hospitality technology landscape: PMS, POS, RMS, channel managers, IoT infrastructure, and how they interconnect in practice
- How to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical decision-makers
- Consulting methodology: problem structuring, workstream management, and client communication in a real engagement context
- How automation decisions are evaluated, piloted, and scaled — from feasibility through deployment and performance monitoring
- What a senior-level consulting delivery looks like from the inside, across multiple client contexts simultaneously
Compensation
Monthly gratification: €700 – €900 gross, depending on profile (above the legally required minimum for internships of two months or longer).
Restaurant vouchers and 50% public transport reimbursement provided in accordance with French law.
Who we are looking for
- Engineering student (software, hardware, digital systems, mechatronics or related) — preference for European programmes
- Genuine curiosity about how technology transforms real operational environments
- Fluent in English (written and spoken — required); French a meaningful advantage
- Eligible to work in the EU
- Comfortable working independently and in small, senior teams
